How We Support Universities
The University Partnerships team at BARBRI Global provide SQE and US Bar solutions for Higher Education partners across the UK. Through progression agreements and course licensing arrangements, we provide SQE content for LLB, LLM and apprenticeship programmes for students in all circumstances.
We also provide strategic consultancy on course development and a range of employability lectures and workshops for students on subjects from the SQE to legal technology. We also have a range of new content in development on wider professional education and development themes to offer our university partners.

These Legal Practice LLM and MSc courses all include the BARBRI SQE Prep software, digital workbooks, video lectures, 3,000+ multiple choice questions with detailed explanatory answers and mock exams to help you prepare for your SQE1 examination, with an introduction to the legal skills tested in the SQE2 exam.

Our University Partnership Team
Chris Howard
University Partnership Director
Chris qualified as a solicitor with Trowers & Hamlinsʼs award-winning Projects & Construction Team. In 2006 he began his career in academia and has held Senior Lectureships and Programme Leadership roles in several HE institutions, including four years as Director of Professional Education at Kingʼs College London. He joined BARBRI Global in 2023 and also serves as Co-Vice Chair of the IBAʼs Future of Legal Services Commission.
Shashagay Mcintosh
University Partnerships Account Manager
Shashagay has worked at BARBRI for 2 years after completing her master’s in legal practice. She has over 7 years’ experience in customer services and has worked to educate aspiring solicitors about their legal qualification pathway in her previous role as a Sales Executive/Legal Education Sales Consultant. Shashagay now supports our university partners across the UK to drive awareness.
